Easy Credit Repair for everyone

Here are a few ways that ANYONE can raise thier credit score, FOR FREE!

Like all credit repair your first step here is to pull your credit report.  The easiest things to remove from your credit report are those that companies cannot or will not validate.

These include: Collection accounts listed by multiple companies. Debt collector A buys your account and trys to collect on it for a year, leaving a listing on your credit. They then sell it to debt collector B who starts the process over.  Debt collector A has no reason to keep information on your debt once they sell it.  That means that when you send them a letter under the FCRA demanding that they validate the listing; not only do they not have any information on it. They have nothing to gain by validating it! The listing is removed because it is cheaper and easier to give you what you want.  Any company that violates the FCRA can be sued for up to $1,000. No debt collector is going to risk a law suit for that amount over debt they don't own.

Another Quick way to boost your credit score is to remove inquirys.  As in our last example, companys must prove to you that they are authorized to list an inquiry on your credit report. If they can't they must remove it.  Most people find that when they send a certified letter requesting proof of authorization, companys tend to remove them as a curtisy. Each listing that you get removed will increase you score by 5 points!

Now the best way to improve your credit is with a credit card.  You really need to read the fine print on them though.Make sure that you choose a card that will report your progress monthly. Also, many have really high intrest and start up fees that will eat up most of your balance. Remember that you want to keep your balance below 30% of your credit limit. This shows creditors that you are able to use your credit without depending on it.

Already have a credit card but had a few late payments? Try sending your credit card company a goodwill letter asking them to remove the negative marks from your credit report.  You can also try this with other types of open accounts.

We like the Orchard Bank card because the fees are low and the intret is reasonable. WWW.orchardbank.com
